Focus Halloween Costume Contest

I've been having a lot of fun writing Focus. It's been great to return to Allie, Levi, and the rest of the group, and I've absolutely loved writing about Allie's first semester at college. It's impossible to write about fall in New Orleans without including Halloween. I have some really cool scenes planned out (including a steamy one with Allie and Levi), but I've hit a small problemI can't decide on what costumes Allie, Hailey and two of their other friends should wear. After some thinking I realized that the best solution would be to have my readers help me the pick the costumes through a contest. Here are the details:
Comment below between now and Monday morning with a suggestion for an awesome costume that four girls (18-year-old college freshman) could wear. The girls can all go as the same thing, or just have four costumes that go together as a set.

On Monday I'm going to pick my three favorites and put it to a vote on what costume to use.

All three finalists win an eARC of Focus and swag. The winner also gets signed copies of both Flight and Focus AND a character named after them in Focus. (Open internationally)

There will be some giveaways during the voting early next week, so make sure to come back and vote on your favorite costume!

I'm also excited to show you all my book trailer for the Crescent Chronicles. The trailer is by Hazel Glass Films. To celebrate all of this Crescent Chronicles fun, Flight will be on sale for .99 this weekend only!!

Veer Cover Reveal!

I'm excited to reveal the cover of Veer, the second book in the Clayton Falls series. This cover was designed by Stephanie Nelson of Once Upon a Time Covers. Veer is a New Adult Contemporary Romance set in the same coastal North Carolina town as Derailed. Veer tells Gavin and Becca's story, and I look forward to sharing it in December 2012.

Only when you let go can you learn to live.

Between the death of her mother and pushing through law school without her best friend, it's been a tough year for Becca. Needing a break from Boston, she moves to a tiny coastal North Carolina town for a relaxing summer. After bumping heads repeatedly with a local cop, she realizes her summer will be anything but quiet.

Three years after a career ending injury ruins his chance to play Major League Baseball, Gavin has a distrust of northerners and lately girls in general. He wants nothing to do with a girl who is only in town for the summer.

When the two give in to their impossible attraction, they realize that they may just have found the key to freeing themselves from the ghosts of their pasts.
